Casa Maistra Residence is a 19th century traditional residence right in the middle of the town's promenade, the Venetian coastal road Ruga Maistra. Restored in 2010, keeping the original traditional architecture, the building was divided into 3 exclusive apartment-suites that combine elements of the past with today's comfort and style. Each suite is fully equipped and spacious enough to accommodate a whole family for any amount of time all year long.
Located in the centre of the pedestrian promenade where the old part of town meets the sandy beach of Rethymnon Casa Maistra Residence is one of the few restored settlements that combines the old town feeling with unobstructed views of the Cretan sea. The building, home of Russian nobles at the end of the 19th century, has been recently renovated (2010) into three separate double storied apartment-suites covering from 60m² to 80m² each.

Room Descriptions
Agora Suite
This is definitely the apartment with the most traditional character. Beautiful skylights illuminate the whole dining room and kitchen area. The living room gets ample light from the traditional oriel windows that overlook the main old town agora and the Metropolis church. A wooden staircase leads up to the loft bedroom where there is access to a roof garden. In case of a third person a single extra bed can fit into the living room.
Sea View Suite
A slightly smaller version of the Sea Panorama Suite sharing the same sea views and relaxed style is this 70 m² suite located in the middle level of the residence. The ground floor features an open plan kitchen coupled with a dining/living room and a spacious bathroom. Here you will also find a comfortable double bedroom with a private sea front balcony. An interior staircase from the living room leads up to a second bedroom with access to the roof garden. On the top bedroom there is one single bed that, in case of a 4th guest, can open up to a double bed (165x200 with extra top mattress on top).
Sea Panorama Suite
A luxurious and stylish 2 bed room 80 m² suite located at the top level of the residence, offering unobstructed views of the sea, the marina and the beautiful newly renovated beach promenade. More...
